31b2702387 esp_netif, examples: esp_netif_init() moved into ESP_ERROR_CHECK() 
esp_netif_init() returns standard esp_err_t error code (unlike tcpip_adapter init), so shall be checked for the return value
Also to make the initialization code more consistent.

1df85e0039 nvs_flash: Version compatibility check for nvs storage 
This change adds a check for compatibility between the nvs version
found on nvs flash and the one assumed by running code during nvs
initialization. Any mismatch is reported to the user using new error
code ESP_ERR_NVS_NEW_VERSION_FOUND.

371c66f188 wifi_scan_example: Indentation Fixes 
- Trailing white spaces removed
- Re-formatted switch-case

Basic indentation fixes were done using tools/format.sh and switch-case
formatting was done manually (to identify different levels for "switch"
and "case")
